How to set the LO frequency in
your meter
LO settings
The LO settings of the meter MUST be the same as your LNB/F.
How do you know the LO setting of your LNB/F?
Most LNBFs have the LO freqency printed on the LNB/F label. So, it's a simple matter of looking at the LNB/F label to get the frequency and they keying it into the meter. If it's not on the LNB/F label, check the specifications of the LNB/F on the manufactures website or give them a call and ask them for this information.
Common LO setting are:
- Universal = 9750 and 10600, used in European countries and others
- 5150 = This is used for almost all C-Band LNB/Fs
- 10750 = the US Standard that is commonly used in USA
- 11250 = the most common one used for DSS (DirecTV and Dish Network)
- UNIVERSAL
- 5150
- 9750
- 10750
- Customised (you can key in any LO frequency here)
How to set the LO in
your meter
- Power on the meter
- from the MAIN MENU activate the Satellite Setting menu
- activate the Dish set-up menu
- highlight the LNB type selection
- use the right and left arrows to change the LO setting
- click EXIT on the keypad
- and Save your settings, or Cancel them if you do not want to change the settings
